• Our new facility located in Valmeyer, IL., which is about 20 minutes south of St. Louis, is a state of the art facility built in 2004 which is fully racked, with 15,000 positions in multiple temperature zones.
• Mid America's refrigeration system utilize an ammonia chilled brine system capable of maintaining temperature from -20 degrees Fahrenheit to ambient temperature of +58 degrees Fahrenheit. 
• Mid America currently occupies 5.6 million cubic feet of space and have an additional 10 million cubic feet available for future expansion.
• Mid America maintains an Excellent rating from ASI on our warehouse audit for safety, cleanliness, and operation procedures and we are a USDA ID warehouse. 
• Mid America also has a fully integrated Warehouse Management System with EDI capabilities.

Mid America Cold Storage is a state of the art refrigerated warehouse. The facility was built ground up and opened in 2005. Initially occupying 140,000 square feet of refrigerated warehouse space, it expanded to 200,000 square feet in 2007. The facility stores products for some of the largest companies in the food industry.
